The RoJaRo is a quick reference tool, not a bibliographical one. This means that you will neither find the name of the author, nor the titles of the articles. This was a choice I made from the start to make it possible to get as much information as possible available.

• FORM OF REFERENCES

  I've tried to make these as easy to understand as possible, by using the info found on the cover of the magazines. These are the basic forms used:

        19940524      = 24th of May 1994
        199410        = October 1994
        1994/82       = issue no 82 from 1994
        1992/sum      = summer 1992
        1993/v2n3     = volume 2 number 3, issued in 1993
        200001        = January 2000
        20020516      = 16th of May 2002
  

  This way of doing it may seem "wrong" to some of the librarians out there, but this was the shortest and easiest way to do it.

• PAGINATION

  Some of the magazines/fanzines indexed in detail do not have pagination. In these cases I've numbered the pages myself, starting with the front cover as page 1. To make full use of the RoJaRo in these cases, it would be wise to do the same in your copies.
