RJRPRES: another xeroxed zine covering rock on the dark side. some of the music content is really good, but my "european sensibility" (greg-s term) seems to miss the point of the rest of the magazines content. discontinued.

RJRPRES: impressive american fanzine from david mills covering various forms of black culture with focus on music, mostly p-funk and rap. well-written & researched articles and reviews make this a personal favourite. irregular. discontinued.

underground soundz magazine (usa/english)
RJRPRES: zine subtitled: a review of beatz from the streetz. this mag covers mainly various types of black music like rap, jazz, soul, funk & some world music. lots of reviews make this a valuable info source. recommended. probably discontinued.

unhinged (uk/english)
RJRPRES: excellent british fanzine covering alternative rock. tons of reviews in seperate supplement. well worth checking out. irregular. discontinued.

united jazz society (germany/german)
RJRPRES: local bi-monthly jazz (& blues) bulletin covering the NRW region in germany with a thorough concert guide & previews. includes record reviews and occational interviews of general interest. current status unknown, probably discontinued.

univibes (ireland/english)
RJRPRES: quality hendrix mag. possibly the best one out there and easily recommended to everyone interested in this artist. publishes special cds with previously unissued music by hendrix. (nov.09)

RJRPRES: longrunning large-format u.s.mag covering most aspects of dance music, techno, rap etc. interesting articles & record reviews. recommended, but big subscription problems twice. (nov.09)

RJRPRES: italian quarterly focusing on the italian rock scene + some coverage of rap etc. very valuable information source within its specialized field. comes with hard-vinyl eps of unreleased italian music. recommended. discontinued.
